The Frauscher shipyard wins Meisterkreis Award 2025 for its collaboration with Porsche

12. November 2025

At the 2025 Meisterkreis Awards, the Frauscher shipyard and Porsche were honoured in the category “Unexpected Partnerships”.
The award recognises the extraordinary collaboration that led to the creation of the fully electric Frauscher × Porsche 850 Fantom Air and 850 Fantom – a milestone for sustainable premium mobility on water.

The models combine Porsche’s E-Performance drive technology with Frauscher’s masterful boatbuilding expertise, proving that innovation and emotion can coexist seamlessly. With up to 400 kW of power and a top speed exceeding 90 km/h, the 850 Fantom Air and 850 Fantom open a new chapter in maritime e-mobility.

“This award highlights what can be achieved when two brands work together with passion and precision towards a shared vision,” says Stefan Frauscher, Managing Director of the Frauscher shipyard. “With Porsche, we share the ambition to redefine the limits of design and performance – on the water just as much as on the road.”

Jörg Kerner, Head of the Macan Series at Porsche AG, adds:
“The eFantom is more than just a boat. It has the potential to revolutionise the world of boating.”

The award jury praised the project as “a European benchmark in design and engineering” – a true example of how pioneering spirit and cross-industry collaboration can redefine innovation.
