New technology for popular Frauscher electric boats now available to order.

Frauscher has been building electric boats since 1955 and since then has continued to drive innovation on the water. In addition to the 650 Alassio, the best-selling electric boat in Europe in the last 10 years, the 740 Mirage and 740 Mirage Air will also be available with the electric drive system from Molabo from 2025.

The special feature of the electric motor manufactured in Germany is the low system voltage of 48V with a high continuous output of 50kW. “Unlike the predecessor system with a high-voltage battery and similar system performance, the Molabo system has many advantages for our customers,” explains Florian Helmberger, Sales Manager at Frauscher. Thanks to the modular battery bank with 6 kWh LFP batteries, different battery sizes can be realized according to customer requirements. In addition, the system drives more efficiently and more quietly in all speed ranges. Another major advantage is the inherent safety of the low-voltage system: all components are absolutely safe to touch and no high-voltage technicians are required for maintenance.

The Frauscher 650 Alassio, 740 Mirage and Mirage Air with the Molabo system with 50 kW drive power and battery sizes of 36 or 48 kWh are available to order now and will be delivered to the first customers from summer 2025.
