THREE PREMIERES FOR THE BOOT DÜSSELDORF 2024 MEET FRAUSCHER BOATS AT BOOT DÜSSELDORF FROM 20-28 JANUARY.
Ohlsdorf, 10th January 2024 – The Austrian Frauscher shipyard will be presenting two world premieres and a German premiere at the international boat show “boot” from 20-28 January 2024: the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air and the new Frauscher 1017 GT will be presented to the public for the first time and the 1212 Ghost Air will celebrate its German premiere.
Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air
2024 is a year of innovations for Frauscher: The most spectacular of them is the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air, which will celebrate its world premiere in Düsseldorf. The model is a sensational cooperation between two traditional companies that stand for performance, emotions and design icons like no other. The exclusive electric sports boat based on the Frauscher 858 Fantom Air features the drive technology of the future Porsche Macan electric. The result is an electric boat with typical Porsche e-performance and outstanding driving characteristics.
In addition to the drive technology, the design also bears Porsche’s signature in certain areas. Studio F. A. Porsche was responsible for the design of the steering position, including the steering wheel and the main console with a thrust lever and integrated displays. The first edition of the Frauscher x Porsche 850 Fantom Air is limited to 25 units and will be delivered in 2024.
Endless fun – 1212 Ghost Air
With the new Air version of the 1212 Ghost, the Frauscher development team has convincingly continued the design language of its closed sister model. New features include the free-standing, frameless steering position and the spacious seating and lounging area with a height-adjustable table, which can also be lowered completely into the floor for greater freedom of movement. The 12-metre motor yacht is crowned by a lightweight carbon T-top. Seemingly weightless, it floats above the steering position. Minimalist in form, dynamic in expression, impressive in function.
The model celebrates its German premiere in Düsseldorf. The signs are good for a successful trade fair: In securing first place at the Salone Nautico Genoa, the Best of Boats Award in the “Best for Performance” category and a nomination for the Powerboat of the Year Award, the Frauscher 1212 Ghost Air can already boast impressive successes.
The new generation of Frauscher 1017 GT
The new edition of the “Gentlemen´s racer” will also celebrate its world premiere at the “boot”. The most successful motorboat in its class strikes a balance between familiar design elements and new accents – and more than lives up to the increased standard of Frauscher models. Designer Stephan Everwin has thus succeeded in evolving an icon. The side air intakes on the hull are a clearly recognisable feature of the modernised model series. They emphasis the sporty character of the 1017 GT and are based on its larger siblings, the 1212 Ghost and 1414 Demon.
The focus on the future can also be seen in numerous refined details: These include a black painted dashboard with modern displays and classic round instruments set in stainless steel, an interior with more generous, rounded backrests for luxurious comfort, a kitchen in exclusive oak and a stylish bathroom.
